MATERIALS INNOVATION: A TRANS-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH

On Tuesday 17th September as part of The Arts Foundation’s Materials Innovation talk, Liz spoke about the materiality of The Natural Selection footwear project discussing how materials inform footwear structures and how practice based research can focus material research. Later spoke with Rhian Solomon about a future collaborator sKINship project which knowledge transfers skills between designers and reconstructive surgeons. The Talk was held at the Victoria and Albert Museum and was part of The London Design Festival.
